I was at Sewell Lexus in Dallas today and my service tech said she just serviced another NM yesterday for it's 7th oil change. I asked her what was significant about that, and she said that the car only had like 2,500 miles on it and didn't really need any service, just by the age...once a year they bring it in for service. WOW!!!!!!!!! 2500 miles in 7 years...almost 8.
Wow, any chance that car will be up for sale in the near future, bet it draws 39k if auctioned on Ebay!! That car has to be the most expensive 2002 in the country !! Follow that car SCDROPTOP, is the owner a CL member ??

I never understood why they put BLUE door sill on a car with RED interior and a silver exterior.

Rims are up for local trades if anyone is interested.
^^^^, your car is to die for !! Do you know who owns car #1 ??

I have no idea who owns #1. I believe CL has only seen #36 &#85. I haven't seen another in person.

There was a fellow that joined CL about 6 months ago that had a Neiman Marcus he was trying to sell. I think it was #43 and he lived in San Diego. He put up an ad here. Strangely, he had trouble selling it. It only had 29,000 miles. I think he was offered $22,500 for a trade-in, and he said he would sell it to whoever offered him more than that. He finally sold it, but nowhere near what he was hoping for. I think he started off in the high 20's.

You just never know with these cars. It all depends on whether someone comes along that REALLY wants the car. If they do, they are willing to pay several thousand more for it. If that person never comes along, you have to take what you can get.

Now if they made a NM car in 2007 or 08 it would still be worth something. The only way to get close to 30K on a 01 NM car would be to find the "PERFECT BUYER" -who must have the NM kit.

I realize the asking price is on the high side but im in no rush to sell and would rather a trade for a 911 or nsx. This car is just a toy that sits in the garage 98% of the time but the 2% of the time i drive it, i love it. It does draw too much attention sometimes. I'd only give up this car if I get into a real sports car.

LOL - I can give you an example:
Last weekend, wife and I stop at the local Circle K, and as I'm getting back in the car, an attractive lass gets out of her car parked next to mine, and as she walks by, says, "I love your car", loud enough for the wife to hear....
So I sit down, glance over to the frown on my wife's face and say, "What?"

+1 on that. There are times when u just don't need that attention. Riding solo the yeah bring it on but when the passenger seat is occupied, leave me alone.

I feel your pain, my wife rarely rides with me, she likes her RX I bought her. With my SC, I don't think there's another car on the road that evokes more stares except for a Ferrari.

Default 06 PB Interior

The 04 and 06 have fairly subtle changes on the interior that make them very slightly different from other models. The 04 had the black birdseye maple and then the 06 of course had a big bowl of neutral colors from the tiger eye mica exterior to all the cappucinos and espressos inside! It's a winter wonderland of BROWN! If you love brown, this is the car for you!!!

Default 08 PB Edition Interior...who knew?

If you look at the SMG 08 PB Edition you would just think another clean looking charcoal gray SC, right? Wow...would you be wrong. The interior is two tone and maybe be one of the most unique (certainly the ONLY SC that has two tone seats) interiors of all the special editions.

Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the uniqueness and what Lexus was trying to do here.
