i have a 2nd set of fogs and 2nd set of headlights being custom made right now.
and ya, the sharpie fades the whole artpiece was supposed to be done over a time of 3 weeks, but was done in approx 5 days the week of the pursuit... thats why i said phase 1 - many panels are being redone. i only plan on holding this style for about a year.
thnx for the comments. more details to come as i continue to mod it.
most of the stuff will be one-off, (ex: paint, exhaust, headlights, fog lights, audio,)
never ceases to amaze me. i still remember seeing it the first time and saying to you, "yah... i don't know if we have anyone here in socal that can do that kinda work..." (maybe the models, but not the artists to throw down some sharpie action on your moving canvas...)
just remember, kids, he did it first, and he did it big. that makes UV an innovator. he gets mad props for that.
always imitated, never duplicated. go buy you some.
I've always wanted to do some sharpie work on the car... but not on the car itself
I'll PM you my idea.. maybe you can make use of it!
The car looks bad *** though! for being the first to do it on an IS...
IMHO, who cares if someone says you tried to copy Brett's lambo.. you were the FIRST to do it on a Lexus!
Only thing I'm not feeling is the Tanabe sticker at the top of the rear passenger window get their EPS and make it in a different color, that red in their logo is throwing it off!
Someone on here did it on a GS front bumper so technically i wasnt the first, but i guess the first to cover the whole car!
Re: Tanabe sticker, yah, i have something in the works.. lol too many things were slapped together for The Pursuit and Phase 2 is finishing up some parts and repairing some.
