My dealer (Westminister Lexus, CA) installed the front/rear bars with some teflon tape wrapped around the front bar bushings. They noted, however, that when the corrected bushings are supplied by Lexus, they will change out the front bushing. In the meanwhile, NO noise noted at all and the handling is greatly improved.
Sewell Lexus did the same "quick fix" on my toy too, but it knocks whenever it wants to!!!

Dont worry your noise is coming!
It's been several months since these sway bars came out. Has Lexus come up with a replacement bushing yet? It's embarassing to drive my car with passengers to hear a knocking sound on top of the rattls from dash in a
$50k+ car! Lexus is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. If & when new part is released how are going to be notified?

Not that I'm aware of... I am upset as well, although my knock is still very diminished since the "rigged" fix...
I will be taking my ride in for a check on monday. I had it at Dyno Comp yesterday and they said all of the bolts and bushing on the coilers were good and they greed the bushings on the front sway bars. I did notice when he had the car up on the lift that I did have a bit of a gap between the sway bar and the bushing. I really hope they can nail it for me with the new bushing and adjustment. I just went through a 5 week fiasco with the 255/30 to the 245/20 but with a fatter section width so I had rubbing that I had to sort out. Damn it I want the car to run perfectly
My was only knocking free for only a day, then it just make its presence whenever it feels like it!!!
Took it back to Sewell, all they can do was a "quick fix"!!! They told me that I have to wait for Lexus to come out with the solution, or they can put back the OEM sway bars for now!!!
So for now I just turned up the stereo really loud, so I would not heard the damn knocking!!!
I have been turning up the stereo as well recently
Yes, they know of the problem because I reported it to them but they have not heard about it officially from the field (basically everyone else who has bought one and had a problem). Make sure your dealerships are pinging corporate so that they are fully aware of the number of individuals who have this issue.
is there any updates? i want to get the sways, but only if there's a fix for it.
