can someone please translate this japanese or explain the broken english translation?
so i got the new vip style (october issue) and on page 76 & 77 is what i believe is a big new ad on either some new technology or something similar to the ss kit but different. either way my wife can't exactly explain what it is to me in english because she doesn't know the exact car terms in japanese. the web page listed on the advertisement is http://www.moonface.co.jp and the ad is for GENB "low angle arm pro". here is the english translated site:
also look at this list of parts and see if anything can achieve what the ss kit does,, i.e. lower the ls430 even more than the UL + controller and soften the stroke rate or something like that.
these thing are nothing new. It's just a roll center adaptor/adjustor.
If you are occasionally using DataSystem to lower your car, I wouldn't spend money on SS or products similar to these.
For UCF30/31, lowering by DataSystem would make the upper arm to touch the body, but in case of lowering by aftermarket air, it does. There is a custom arm that you can put on so that it lowers even more (hard core bippu I must say.) There was lot of article on August issue of VipStyle mag.
I'll be happy to translate if you want something particular. let me know.
So none of these products would be an alternative to the ss kit? I did the math and realized that all new custom control arms is very expensive, but I wasn't sure if you could just use one of the 3 total pieces to lower the car or if you actually needed all 3 parts for each corner ($$$)? I think this is similar to what racinstyle has.
