I just placed an order for a pair of H11 6000k bulbs for our 06 Acura MDX. Prior to discovering HIDExtra on CL, I was browsing the Acurazine forum and bought a 5000k HID kit from a Xenonlink.com. Well everything went well and the kit installed just fine, but when I fired the lights up they were different colors!? (see picture below) I also noticed that the ceramic insulator on the what appears to be 5000k bulb had a crack in it. Contacted the site and they said they would send me new bulbs, but they never did and have yet to hear back. Hoping for a much better experience with HIDExtra.
ps..Is your 6000k kits more white than what appears in my photo?
1.) 55w only give 15% output
2.) 55w is 2-3 times more expensive
3.) Because of the higher output, it burns out the bulbs and itself faster so less life.
All our bulbs are gas filled. Thanks`

i actually found a better pic on this forum from Maying i believe. pics of the lights shining against a wall or the ground(for fog lights) shows the color much better than pictures of the actual light.
