Default Start Up Squeak

My moms rx300 has 100k on it and whenever we start it when the car is cold it squeaks. i thought it would've been a belt. we got the tb/wp and all the belts changed out with the 100k service but it still squeaks. any ideas?

It still is likely one or both of the two accessory belts (i.e., not the timing belt).

Have to ask 2 questions ES. Those that know me know that I don't ask questions without a specific reason. #1 is what were the replacement belts (p/s & a/c, alt.), were they OEM Toyota or aftermarket and the second question is were the idler & tensioner pulleys and the tensioner replaced? Third question, (sorry), were OEM TB & W/P used? When I see the answers to these, I may have more input.

My money says belts too. Right after I got mine it started making a chirping noise. I was almost positive it was something along the lines of a bearing in the alternator. The belt was OE, looked tight and did not look worn. I took it in to the dealer and they listened to it. Within seconds they said it was a belt. A few hours later I pick it up and it never made the sound again. They hooked me up and did them free under CPO.

Spray some water on the visible belts. If it's the belts, it will stop squeaking temporarily. If it doesn't stop squeaking, it's you idler/tensioner.

I had some of the same issues....I used Prestone belt dressing as a temporary band aid, then I had the everything changed with the t-belt. Now my car runs like new and I have about 90,450 miles on it.
