I exactly had the same problem, The whining noise is from the plate which is of the inner side of the wheel, it is a half bracket thin metal peice, which is like a protection to the Rotor, Just flex it outwords, it is done. Have a look at the attached image, it would look something like this, Ensure you have your steering turned to the extreme right or left to flex it outwards. Or the otherway is if you have a jack, raise the front wheel and rotate the wheels, and you will hear the whine noise, just stop the rotation and flex the plate . cheers
