2010 Land Cruiser Prado (Our GX 460)
I took this out of the GX forum:
IMO, it looks great. I was worried about them feminizing it like the LX, or making it look awkward like the RX, but the sides and overall proportions look very sleek and athletic, but still muscular and attractive. Our GX will obviously have a different front end, but I really think that this initial leaked picture looks like a wonderful redesign for the GX. I hope that like the last generation, they keep the same general styling on the sides as the LC Prado and only make minor changes to the front and rear for the GX.
It also follows the baby-LX styling rumors from a few months earlier, but is thankfully much better looking IMO:

I like it, but personally, the offroading I do is capably handled by my Subaru. Therefore, if I were to get a GX, LX, Sequoia, or Landcruiser I'd want the venerable, DI 3.5L in it, and not a V8. Frankly, I think there is a market for a more efficient V6 in these large SUVs and Toyota has one that is powerful enough to move em.

We will have to wait and see

The only thing I don't like about this (and the GX could be different, but if the LX is any indication I wouldn't bet on it) is the complete lack of body moulding. For people who truly off road, even lightly, these pieces often get scratched and scuffed, and they're relatively inexpensive to replace.
If you scratch or scuff something on this new GX, you're looking at $$$ for body work, not just a replacement piece.

Lexus Test Driver
I would not be surprise if Lexus stay with the barn door in the 2010, the power lift gate was just a rumor. Lexus like to do things the old way, even if the old way is the bad way.

I've rented the current Land Cruiser Prado. It is an awesome vehicle, much better proportions and useable space than a 4runner. The new one looks modern but I would buy the current model and keep it until it died (30 yrs from now)

Lexus Test Driver
A quote from the video:
“I like being at Lexus because we get to try new things, we get to change the world, we get to do things the right way instead of the same old way they were always done. The HS is a great example of that.”
