Default F-sport vs Lexus "hks" Exhaust

Sorry if this has been talked before.

I am looking to buy either exhaust, but do not know if i should buy a used Lexus hks exhaust or a new f-sport.

Could someone help me the differences, In tip diameter, style, sound, etc....that could help in my decision.

Thanks.

This thread should help you out a lot. In summary, both are basically identical but on the f-sport, the right "muffler" is a fake and is just a straight pipe.

As everyone else has stated, they are essentially identical. I love my F-Sport, the overall look and sound are great.

Looks awesome Hoovey. With the deal going on with Sewell, the exhaust is too good to pass up. Plus, f-sport looks better with the rear GFX because the tips are flush.

I heard the Lexus HKS in real life and I have to say it is one of the best sounding exhaust for the IS350 look and sound wise. Too bad they don't make it anymore and it cost a fortune to buy..

People are selling their used ones for less than 900. I saw one in the classifieds not to long ago...

No doubt. I got mine used a few months ago and wonder why I hadn't got it earlier when it was available as new. It sounds a lot better than any other. I'm curious to see if F-sport still makes that unique sound aside from being louder.

I wonder if they would just sell the right muffler of the f-sport, that way people with the Lexus hks don't have to buy a whole new exhaust
