Very nice design. Benz always puts together beautiful coupes and sedans. this car will look amazing when worked by a tuning shop. Lowered on a set of 21's and this thing will be ready to roll on the sunset strip
And it looks a hell of a lot better in person bit. I was shocked just how good it looks compared to pictures (and even the super boring E-class Sedan).

car looks so modern, I love it... 1000X better than IS coupe. I do agree all MB needs AMG kit, or I won't buy it (kinda looks like Lexus w/o it, plain). I don't like the shape of the center air vents, looks kinda cheap.
It looks nice, but I still lament the demise of the CLK.
MB has a lot of similar cars - the CL, the coupe-like CLS, and now the E coupe. You know what's missing? A driver's car. I test drove a CL63, and yes, that car is a beast. It was extremely comfortable and speeding in it was easy. But there's something to be said about a smaller, lighter car.
I guess this is MB's answer to the A5/S5. We'll probably be seeing a ton of these on the road shortly.
Glad to see that the price came down. IMO $53k was way too much for the last gen. Standard of luxury or not. And $88k for an S class? Really? And supposedly the S400 hybrid is expected to have a $12-$14k premium. Why not get a 600h then for that money?
The interior of this car is simply stunning. Lexus needs a wake up call - out of their L-finesse lineup only the LS has nice interior, everything else is less than mediocre.
the car will NOT have 292 horsepower in the US because we do not get the new DI engine. The 350 models will still have the 268 that is currently offered. It has something to do with the grade of gasoline we get in the US

Maybe people who choose a S class over a Ls because they like the S class more. And people who choose the LS over a S class because they like the LS more. The 2010 S class is 1000 times better looking the LS and that would be the reason why I would pick the S class over the LS.
