I have an '07 IS-250mt which is still 100% stock, Im looking to upgrade but financially Im nowhere close to the budget needed to buy the F-Sport Series mods.
One of my racing buddies recommended that I check out the line of exhaust systems from Magnaflow & see if they had built anything for the Lexus IS models yet.
As I found out, Magnaflow does indeed have upgrades available for both generations of IS's, but it appears that the products are new enough to the market for their official specs to not even be listed yet on the company's website, last time I checked.
I want to know if anyone here has had any experience with Magnaflow exhaust systems, and if so, how would you describe their general quality & overall effect on engine performance, in comparison to those from competing brands within the same budget range.

Thank U in advance
Exhausts vary greatly in terms of cost, quality, and sound.
But as far as performance they're pretty much all identical within two categories-
Axle-back systems (Tanabe, F-sport, HKS, etc)- 7 horserpower gain on an IS350, likely less on a 250
Full exhausts- ("cat back", though many replace or remove the secondary cats- Borla, Joe Z, etc...)- 10-12 horserpower gain on a 350, likely less on a 250. The 10-12 difference coming mainly from if they drop the secondary cats entirely or just replace them with aftermarket ones.
alrite cool.....i know most things on my 250 probably wont change too drastically in terms of HP...... until someone finally makes a supercharger for it that passes CA emission laws

thanx man
Which nobody is going to make because it's a product that makes no sense.
A $7000 supercharger that'd add 30-40 hp... for a car bought by people who didn't want to spend $3500 for 100 more hp when they bought it.
