so that will run off the stock amp? all speakers and sub will work? anyone using that in their sc?
Yeah that will hook up your aftermarket stereo to the factory amp that will run the factory speakers. For the sub, you have to follow what I did in my first post connecting the RCA suboutput of your aftermarket stereo and tap into the Socket D of the factory harness.
I also have an aftermarket 7" screen that can't get the sub to work.
I had it installed at an audio shop and found out that they only used the harness to connect to "socket A".
Even the 2 RCA preout wires were also tapped into the same harness.
Are these the wires (RCA's) that you connected to the sub socket instead?

No, I only connected the RCA Sub outputs from the headunit to the Socket D. The RCA speaker outputs are connected to Socket A.
I see. My HU has only one pair of RCA outputs, I don't think I have a separate RCA sub outputs. I'll check my HU's manual and wire diagrams again to verify.

If your hu doesn't have separate RCA sub outputs, you can split your speaker RCA output and use that to connect to Socket D but it won't sound as good.
Ok I am a little confused... My new Avic-f700 has Sub outs Left and Right, but the factory nakamichi amp is mono for the sub from what I can tell. So if the Socket D only has + & - how do I hook up both Left and Right sub outs?
Does this also work for a 95 SC300 with the subwoofer also?
Where can the RCA to speaker wire stuff be found?
I just ordered a headunit along with the Metra Kit and would still like
for the factory sub to function with the head unit. I know there are
Line level output adaptors you can use to hook up to an amp but this
doesnt look like the same thing. Has anyone else done this yet?
If so please help a member out.

I'm not sure if this method can work with the Nakamichi system since I don't have the wiring diagrams for that. My headunit has left and right sub outs but I only chose one of them to hook up to the factory sub.

If your 95 SC300 has the factory Pioneer radio then this will work for sure. You can get the RCA to speaker wire here http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2102959 You can use that and cut it to length or you can purchase this elsewhere. 1ft should be all you need but i just made mine 2ft for more flexibility.
