Very nice looking rims. I would like to get rims for my car too at some point, just not sure of the style I want yet.

HP EVOS
18x8 & 18x9
Offset: +18 FRONT ; +23 REAR
Tires: KHUMO ECSTAS AST
215/35/18 FRONT
225/40/18 REAR
Lowered on Ksport coilovers
I rolled the fenders a lot but it would need to be completely off to not rub.

Very nice 99ES3. Go with smaller tires and get some stretch. It does wonders for more clearance and you can definitely drop that 40 in the rear to a 35

Would that 35 require mods? I was thinking of getting the stretched look this year, like a 215 or a 205 [if i can find it] yes, just a baby stretch!

Ideally i want it to sit flush with the rear, like 99es3, well almost like him. WITHOUT cutting/rolling fenders...

let me know, i am trying to get a new set of wheels to run this season... and would appreciate the advice.

cheers

You can clear it with 215/35 in the front for sure but I am not getting different tires yet since I am getting the IS300 and want to see how they fit on the IS. I don't think I would need to stretch the tires anymore for the IS since I can mess with the camber more than the ES can I would of went either 215/35 or 225/35 but the 225/40 was on sale haha. If you get a similiar set up I would stretch it to 215/35 that way you can slam the car more I had the 215/35 in the 18x9 before and it looked freaken awesome. It was a pretty dangerous strech.

I am a newbie with a stupid question regarding other Lexus rims for my ES. I see many people have IS300 rims on their ES, my question is are they a direct fit for the ES hub? If the IS300 rims fit the ES, would the RX rims fit as well? The RX is based upon the ES300 frame so that is why I am asking. Also, any difference in the RX300 and IS300 rims? They look very similar.

18X8 MB Wheels.
Unfortunately after 6 months I hit a pot hole and cracked the passenger side beyond repair and had to go back to stockers due to availability.
Another discovery was that riding around on such low profile tires in the concrete jungle prematurely killed my strut mounts and struts on both sides of the car.
All this happened with only 40K miles on the car ! Yes, a 2000 with only 50K at this point.

BINGO! My rims [above] i feel are the greatest factor in this upcoming repair.

Thus they are up for grabs at this point, and i personally am going to get the stock GS300 16" or 17" wheels for that reason!

Regards,
Mike

Question

I've seen a lot of nice setups in this post. I'm trying to put the stock 18s off an 07 IS350 onto my 03 ES300. I know I need spacers in the back but do I need to do anything else to make this work? Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm assuming because the 18x8's are okay in front that I'd just need a .5" spacer in back to fit the 18x8.5's.
