Same here, the Venza has the right stance, right lines, dual exhaust on the V6, big show car wheels, etc.
+1, no ugly wheel to fender gaps, sleek exterior, well screwed together interior, nice profile, nice backside - but have to agree that the grill leaves a little to be desired. We looked at a FWD Venza, pretty well tricked out, and it came in about $10k less than the equivalent new FWD RX. If we were to seriously consider one, it would be the AWD, and still, with what we want on it (you can "build" a Venza on the Toyota web site) it comes out more than $10k less than the new RX (and yes we happen to have pricing and options lists on several well equipped 2010 RX's to compare to).
The more I see and read about it, I'm still thinking that the Venza is what the new RX should have been.
I am also shocked at how much I like the venza. Have yet to see one on the road though.
I saw a white Venza today on the freeway in San Jose. It looks pretty good. I've seen several at the San Jose and San Francisco auto shows. The exterior is fairly dramatic for a crossover SUV, IMHO.
I got to see the new RX350 today I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was and all price was $50,000 about with RSES etc etc. Nav. traffic advisory update this one is fully loaded. When I got in it I shut the door you could feel that it is a heavier vehicle than the previous one. Still want to play with the new mouse system hihi.
I just about fell out of my chair when I went and built one. Lexus Canada has interest rates of only 3.9% for up to 48 mos. That's crazy good for a brand new vehicle up here.
With multiple security deposits and repeat customer discounts it should be low 2's.
Way better than the numbers being currently offered by Benz, BMW, Audi and Caddy up here.
