IS F front rotors
Hey guys I'm running the LS caliper and I was wondering if any has tried the IS F rotors.I know I have to make a bracket to extend the caliber position. But other then that I not sure about the depth of the hat.

I could be wrong, but doesnt the IS-F have smaller brakes than the is350? And are you just swapping rotors or the calipers too? Either way you may find this link interesting https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=389600

I went online and check the spec's and IS f rotor 14.2 and IS350 13.What I really need is the hat size

bigger rotor translates to bigger lever arm for torque translation. when you apply the same force but over a longer distance it translated into more torque.
a lot of nissan guys run a 350z track rotor or the mustang cobra rotor. it is bigger then a regular z32 rotor and has shown to improve braking performance.
how mcuh are the is-f rotors? i doubt it is worth it. i can guarantee you that you will now exceed the performance of the TT brakes with right pads and rotors on the street.

Guys the car stops great not looking for more stopping power!but if I gain a little then thatz gravy.cross drills for my oe set up is bout 110.00 each still 12.40 the IS-F 190.00 each not a big diff.Customer of mine works for a Lex dealer and owes me big time, for a set of wheels I hook him up with.
Well if you can fabricate an adapter for the calipers, go for it.

Just pick up the IS F rotors from JM Lexus today and they just clear the tie rod end by 2mm but do clear. The Ls caliper contacts every inch of it.It's a perfect fit.All have to do is make the brackets. The mounting holes/caliper ears are about and inch a way.And there is a slight offset of the caliper which I will account for when making the bracket.I'll post pictures as soon as I get my cardboard template 3D scanned and made. It's going to work guys and the LS caliper looks bad @ss on it.
