Brake TSIB for 2008 Owners Finally Released!
That + the dust were top reasons that I have not been crazy about this car. Happy to be able to fix both in one shot.
Probably a good idea to kill my quote in your post, so I don't confuse anyone...
Due to the crazy market last week, i had no time to pick up these low dust pads..
I am not even going to bother to take it in to the dealership for the TSB..
1) I am down to the sensors (pads are toast)
2) I can't deal with some one I don't know working on my car.

Review & pics to come shortly...
The nyse has gone all crazy again today keeping me busy @ work...
Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
As as side note, I bought and installed my Alternative pads, since I wore out my 08' high dust pads..
It sorta feels like I lost my oem big brake set up...
Also there is a pedal effort increase for sure!!!!
The intial brake bite found on the regular dusty pads, is gone.
I would NOT want to drive an IS350 at a Taste of Lexus Event with these low dust pads...
- However, I am still getting used to them..
Ok for street driving, but not Ok for track (in my personal opinion)

If you want to keep that "Big Brake" feel.. keep the dusty pads...
The only pro to the Alternative pads is the less dust...
(However, I wouldn't know yet since I haven't washed my car in over a month)
The cons are greater... but again, in my opinion...

The only change will be the "feel" of the system, with the TSIB pads being more linear and less grabby, which offers better braking control.
Actual stopping distance will of course be exactly the same either either set.

I'll be setting some "Skid Pad" testing in the weeks to come... for that distance testing...
