Default gs300 2jzgte swap

I don't know where else to post this but I am getting a 98-2005 gs300. I am going to swap in a 2jzgte from an Aristo. Should I get the one with vvti or no? I know there are 2 different oil pans but I do not think I am gona have problems if I get the one from an Aristo. What problem am I going to encounter? Will it be a direct swap and all the problems will be electrical? I have researched but it is not what I am looking for or I am not searching at the right place.

Any help will be appreciated..

I will be doing this project on my own

There isn't one. Everyone thats done it has either paid a shop to do it or has done it themselves. There are no how-to's on it.

there is one thread on here that showed a few of the steps, i forget who it was but you will definitely find it by searching. it might not jump out at you on a silver platter but i bet you came up with over 100 hits on a search using the terms "2jz GTE swap" or "aristo swap" or "gte swap" or anything like that.

please don't be ignorant. the only reason we say things like that is that there is much more information available by searching through the threads.

all i've heard is that swapping in a non-vvti will require more wiring. i'm going to search right now and give you a few links that i find.

I don't know about you but if I was searching for swapping a Supra motor into my Gs I might try using some of those words. The words you listed above have nothing to do with a swap and most likely would give you pages upon pages of useless info. You need to think about what you are searching for and then narrow it down to key terms. That will save you a lot of time trying to sort through stuff you don't need.
