Until you run out. The light comes on i believe at 1/8 of a tank remaining. You can do the math based on your average Miles per Gallon.

I'd never wait till empty to figure out how many miles left driven as it could harm the fuel pump, but in a ballpark you have roughly 30-40 miles left after the low fuel light comes on.

Yeah...can you imagine being the bloke who ran his ES 70 miles after the empty light came on?!?

^ LOL I did that one time when I had the ES. I was driving towards towards the gas station to fill up 'cause the low light was on for a while, and then all of a sudden when I was at the traffic light, my car could not move when pressing the gas. I was only maybe 100 yards away from the gas station, and my car just finished its last drop of gas. Had to walk over to the station, pay $5 to bring gas over to the car, walk back to the car, fill the $5 worth of gas, drive to the station, fill up the rest of the tank and be on my way. Good thing it happened on a Sunday when there was not much traffic around.

^I would have pushed it done that before with my mustang and my saturn. Kinda funny on this topic when my subi hits its last hash mark you have about 100 miles till empty and thats normal for subi's.
