Unhappy Uncomfortable front seat - need a flat not bucket seat

I find the front bucket seat too small for me. When I sit, the wings on the side tend to pinch me, and I think are contributing to back pain.

I would like to somehow modify the seat to be flat across rather than have a bucket seat with the side wings. Anybody know of any solutions other than trying to buy some foam and custom construct something that fills in the depression.

I've looked at auto stores for seat cushions, but they would only sit flat across the seat and basically adopt the same shape as the Lexus seat

Have you tried adjusting the lubar support to help with the back pain?

G man, thanks for the tip about after market seat cushions. I've been looking for one that just fits on the bottomr, but haven't seen one. Any specific suggestions as to where to look?

Default Uncomfortable bucket seat on CT200h

Has anyone looked into having a seat from another model installed (with a wider or shallower bucket)? I love the car but the seat ruins it!

Default Uncomfortable seat wings

VU68, I completely agree. I've been searching for a new car for a month, but need one that that the seat doesn't have high hard wings. What's up with that? Do manufacturers think we all need to held in place, that we will fall out if the seat is flatter? They are so uncomfortable and it makes choosing a new car impossible. I guess the only choice it to make some type of a cushion to fit between the wings. I tried the links one of the posters suggested but to no avail.....darn. Have you found anything yet?
