i confused what problem can be happened....

my car ES350 2008 NEW about 2000 miles

I have seen this reported several times on GS forum for 08 models.

Try loosening and then securely tightening your gas cap.

Then restart the car and see if that solves it temporarily.

I'll look for GS thread I read and put a link here in case you don't find it.

I have seen in mentioned quite a few times and requires a service appointment but seems applies to 08 models.

Just act like you are going to put some gas in it and open gas cap as you usually would, then just put gas cap back on real tight.

It is a mix of LS and GS owners from what I have read, and here are two posts on the subject. I could not find the 08 GS mentions as they are mixed in among other topics but if you look on GS forum you should find. But here is a list of what one guy's dealer did.

almost forgot, if that is not a temp solution then could be something else. It is not wise no matter what it is to drive it with it displaying the warning lights.

It can happen as well if your car has had transmission slips you have noticed, or significant delays in shifting, then later can result in dash lighting up.

I would definitely take it to the dealer to have them read the code.

For information, a loose gas cap is a legit problem. The problem though is that it is commonly misdiagnosed. Evaporative Emissions codes are sometimes hard to diagnose, so some techs just write it off as that and send them on their way. Especially if the vehicle is under warranty. Also, your ES350 has what we call a "key-off" system. Five hours after the vehicle is turned off, the vehicle runs its own checks on the system, instead of previous models that required engine vacuum to run its checks. So its a little different of a system.

Anyways, its actually quite complicated and simply tightening your cap may not immediately get rid of your CEL. Sometimes it takes quite a few warm up cycles for the engine computer to say "ok, its fixed", vs taking it to the dealer and having them read it and clear the codes with the scan tool.

That was longer than I thought, sorry.

Cliff notes: take it to the dealer to have checked.

Is the car shifting alright (not shifting rough or overreving)?

When my "CHECK VSC message" and "CHECK ENGINE light" came on, it indicated my transmission was shot.
Granted this happened at 19000 miles on my ES350.

The "Check VSC" automatically comes on with any hard DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code). What was the code that your vehicle had? Really, a check engine light could be anything from a loose gas cap (P0440, P0441, P0446, ect), to misfires, camshaft position sensors.. ect. The list is a mile long. Its all just shoot in the dark until you know what the DTC is.

Theres no way to guess what it could be. This is why I suggest taking it to the dealer. It should be still under warranty, therefore they should not charge you for looking at the code, much less fixing the problem. At the very least you can go to autozone or something similar, post up the code, and I can let you know what it is/what the problem could be.

Happened a couple months ago on my Honda. Loose gas cap. Discovered this when I went to fill up. Took several cycles before the warning light went away. Like a week or week and a half.

Slightly OT--when the vehicle runs its "key-off" check five hours after the vehicle has been turned off...is it running the check even though the vehicle is still off, or does it run the check the first time the vehicle is turned on after having been off for five hours?

What happens if it's unable to run its key-off check for whatever reason...does it spit out some kind of check engine code?
