They're not at all on par with a true manual or DSG but they're the sportiest I've ever felt with a traditional auto.

I don't ever mess with that though - I just use voice dialing by name which is easier/safer than messing around with that.
The only complaint I have about voice dialing by name is that it should be a smoother operation. I have to push the button on the steering wheel and then say "dial name" and then the guy says "please speak the name" (or something like that) and then I say the name and then he said "would you like to dial _____"? And then I say yes.
I wish I could bypass that and just say "dial (insert name here)" and immediately have it make the call. If it heard me wrong (which it hasn't done yet) then I could just say "retry", or something.
Maybe I should help engineer the electronics for these goofy germans?

Anyhow... about lowering it...
It's a lease so I'm not touching it.
I've been tempted to stick a programmer in it and bump the power from about 330 to about 390 but I'm afraid of voiding the warranty.

Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe

If you accidentally call your girlfriend instead of your wife it could be a big problem.

Use Dial when you want to dial a number
"Dial Number"
(system responds with say number please"
"<read out the digits do not stop or it will pause>"
Then say "Dial"
Use Call when you want to just tell it a name in your phone book.
My main complaint about this car is quality, really. Overall it's very well put together. But this is a luxury brand car that prides itself on 'German engineering'... all things should be considered, and so far I've come across several things that I'd be really annoyed with if I wasn't leasing the car.
