Arrow WTB: 2010+ IS-F OEM Differential + Carrier

Hello everyone.

I would like to see if anyone has an OEM Torsen LSD from a 2010+ F for sale. Maybe one of you upgraded to OS Giken or something? Thought I'd give it a shot.

Thank you very much.

Good luck locating them. Seems very hard to come across one always. I searched for a few months then gave up and went to an ATS LSD.

I lucked out about 3 months ago by persistently keeping a eye out on car-parts.com. I found a 2010 carrier with LSD for $1000 in South Carolina. I just finished installing it and man did it change the whole car!

^^ So it was you who was first to beat me to it! Lol! I was about to pull trigger on it when the discussion came up on the ISF forums a couple months back.

Yup, it's going to be a battle finding one of these. Worth it though!

My car is FBO (headers, exhaust, RR-Racing ECU tune and Tuned Intake) and traction has been a issue since all of these upgrades...both straight-line as well are turns. After the LSD install (and FIGS differential bushings I did at the same time) traction has been so much better. You can now "power through" turns without feeling like your rear end will come out due to loss of traction. Straight-line traction as also improved and there is much less "burnout" before the rear grabs and your off like a bat out hell!! It's so much fun!!

The alternative to finding a 2010+ Carrier with factory Torsen LSD is to get the OS Giken LSD. Ken Henderson upgraded his factory 2010 Torsen to the OS Giken and he said that it made a huge difference compared to the factory Torsen. For me, it was a cost issue...I lucked out finding the used 2010 carrier for $1000 and cost me only $500 to get installed. The OS Giken is roughly $2700 plus another $1000+ to get it installed properly. Mind you a new 2010+ carrier from the factory is about $3500+ so the OS Giken maybe a better option for those desperate for a LSD. But in either case, a LSD on the ISF makes a HUGE difference.

I see. I guess I won't be needing one of these. I drive mostly in the city area, don't track the car or going side ways and 5k-7k miles per year. To help out and not to make a discussion out of WTB, The differential part# 41110-53292 (repl 90-91) W/FINAL GEAR RATIO=47:16=2.937, seems like '13-'16 LS460 and '14-'16 LS600h w/ sports package, f sports package also uses the same part#. Perhaps that can help to expand the search.
