This unit bypasses the DVD safety mode while in motion allowing you to watch and manipulate DVDs while you are moving. It mirrors your iPhone, check compatibility as to what models, and allows touch navigation throughout all applications as if you were on your iPhone. It also charges your iPhone when it's plugged in. It does require you to purchase an hdmi cable and FireWire. Please see vaistechs website for more technical information.
I purchased the wrong unit for my iPhone and it's long past the date to send it back. It was plugged in to be pulled out immediately once I figured out it was the wrong unit. It includes the unit and harness, just like purchasing it from Vaistech.
