He's right. His problem is clearly NOT that I don't want to cough up $600 for USED $1000 coilovers that I'd have TO MODIFY for my car... no, his problem is that he doesn't have a clue how to negotiate or be respectful.
Seller couldn't pay me $400 to deal with that crap. Pass.

^ confused as to what you are upset about.
These usually run for 500$ when they are 15k + miles
It has 4k miles Going for 600, quite a deal.
What exactly do you need to "modify?"
Just install and lower as you please.
You don't like the sellers price, don't buy it, he don't want to negotiate then that's on him, it's HIS item, who are you to say how much he should sell it for,
He gets to price it at whatever he wants, it's up to the BUYERS on whether or not they want to MEET that price.
If you can't afford coils then maybe you shouldn't be modding your car, you gotta pay to play.
