Bad experience with this seller - buyer beware
All,
I recently had a bad experience with the F-sport sway bar transaction from this seller.
We had been in communication about this sway bar for a couple of weeks. Last Tuesday (09/23) he offer to sell the sway bar for $100. Considering it cost $168 brand new shipped from Sewell with a Club Lexus discount, I agreed to buy it. We were supposed to meet on the following Thursday at 8:30 pm. At 8:15 pm, I texted and learned he was still at work and was not sure when he will be out. He said we will either meet on Friday evening at 8:30 pm or Saturday morning, to which I agreed. I texted him on Friday morning to confirm the time, to which I recieved no response. I texted again around noon time, again no response. I called him at 6:30 pm and learn he was not sure the time but he will let me know in 30 mins. 60 mins later he text and said he was not sure when he can meet. At 8:30 pm on Friday, I called but he didn't pick up. I promptly thanked him for his time via text.
This was a negative experience for me because the seller did not follow thru with the purchase agreement. If he doesn't want to sell it for $100 anymore, he should just said so. I don't think he is serious and could waste potential buyer's time. Hopefully, some of you would find what I had to share useful.
Thanks
