Did you buy the car at the dealer or private party?
Which ever was the case, they probably knew about the issue and just covered it up by disconnecting a fuse or battery.The light/s don't flash again until you drive the car for several miles.
How do they know you need all four. It is strange that all four would go bad at the same time.

I have no TPMS at all on mine and I kind of got use to the lights on. Try ebay. I have heard Toyota dealers will sell them and program them for much less cash than Lexus
