not sure how it got cracked but lexus is going to replace it under warranty

it should be an easy fix w/ super glue. located in socal. $25 picked up.

btw, does anyone know if it fits IS250 as well?

How did you manage to get that replaced through warranty? I noticed mine was cracked 2 weeks ago as well. What dealership are you going through?

ask for clem at longo if you're located in socal. i emailed him the pics and he replied back the next day telling me he's gonna order a new one for me.

i guess you could paint it or wrap it in cf once fixed and no need to worry if mess up.

nope, they didn't ask me for the broken one. i just went there to pick up the new one and thats it.

exactly or tell them you dont feel safe driving around with a cracked engine cover so you took it off and left it at home
