It improves initial throttle response lost on cars like the 2IS with drive by wire. Search Blitz or TOM's throttle controller on here and there are threads discussing it.

There are no modifications that need to be done to the ECU. This plugs in with the supplied jumper harness to a plug on the 2IS by the gas pedal and can be removed just as quickly as it was installed if warranty issues are a concern.

This is a 10 minute install at best. You'll spend more time looking for a place to mount the display unit.

Yup, like stated above, it's plug and play and easily reversible. I makes your IS into a totally different animal. The reason I'm selling is that I spend most of my time in traffic and don't really use it very often.
