I just got mine today. I purchased it because it seemed a cheaper and good looking alternative to a carbon fiber lip.
Assuming it was just someone selling a common product that they no longer wanted... I was told there are/were more (at least 1 cause I got one too). So either someone is making these themselves or they are out there somewhere I haven't seen. I'm going to write a bit about it in case there are more to be had. I'm completely new to having and installing splitters so i don't know how hard/easy they typically are to install. That being said:
I'm mildly displeased with it but it will end up working. No offense meant toward the seller, he is as honest as one is required to be especially given that he doesnt even own a 250/350. Maybe different isx50's will fit this better than others (??) but i think that it would be minimal. Therefore, based on my experience with it so far it should be known that the fitment is not good. At minimum know it may not fit well, possibly very very poorly as in my case. Maybe on an IS-F it's snug as a bug.
I will get it to end up looking good ($$) it will just take a lot more work to get it to fit properly and firmly than I ever though it would. Unless you're experienced and crafty you'll probably need to spend twice as much getting it to fit as you did for the part. Going to a local independent shop where I can get attention to detail for cheap I'll end up spending $200 just for them to do what needs to be done to get it to fit. If i had known this I would have just bought a CF lip or looked into different splitters.
Fortunately it's not 100% carbon fiber so I think it might be able to be heated and manipulated. THis combined with some other on the fly thinking/working with some additional hardware will get it secure, I'm told and hope. Once I know what exactly was done I can let anyone know what was done if they want.
I'm reviewing this as such and harshly, without trying to bash the seller, just in case there are more around for sale here or online. People should weigh the decision between this cheaper option (price and quality) or a more expensive one that would hopefully come with greater ease of installation. Finally, don't expect that it will come and you can hold it up and put it on with some screws and have it be functional/lasting. Doing so will leave you disappointed. If you're prepared for additional and higher costs to install then it might end up being a good thing!?!?
I'll post pics tomorrow if it's done before dark.
