Default Pair (2) of slotted and drilled rotors from an IS350, PICTURES and price within...

I bought some IS wheels from a guy and the rotors came in the package deal. I have no idea what they are worth, but I'm forced to name a price so I'll say $120 shipped. If that sounds high, then feel free to make an offer. Rotors were on the car for less than 1000 miles, so they are like brand new. I'm not sure of the brand, and the dude I got them from is out on float. Feel free to call/text/email Chris on 757 559-1289 with any other questions. Thanks!

Sorry about that. I should know better since I'm a mod on another forum. I must say it's d@mn cool of you to post the terms of selling here instead of just deleting thread. So I'll figure out a price, post some pics, respond to the PM's and try this again. Thanks again man.

no. Only the rear brakes are the same on the 250 and 350.

Those are EBC slotted rotors, they retail for around $220 for the pair.

The EBC "GD" series is signified by a "three spot" drilling pattern and a wide aperture full width slot. The full width slot expels dirt, rust, dust, grit, water and any other contaminants that may get between the pad and the disc surface. One important feature is to note that our wide aperture slots also can contain significant volumes of surface gases which are created during heavy braking and prevent the pad from "aquaplaning" on these gases, allowing the pad to contact the disc better and improve brake performance.

The three blind holes drilled in EBC's "GD" series are to further break down gas film in between the slots but are not "through drilled" for one very special reason. 99% of all brake rotors designed and made in the world are what we call straight vaned. This means that the ventilation slots go directly from the outer edge of the rotor, towards the centre point of the disc. There is absolutely NO BENEFIT in through drilling brake rotors which do not have the vane system designed in a "scoop" fashion (which draws air through the centre core of the disc). In fact the drilling of holes through straight vaned discs can, if the holes coincide with the positioning of the vane, weaken a disc and cause catastrophic damage.
