Here is the deal, I have a Matador Red IS-F (Obviously with the IS-F trunk spoiler) and I want to install a Carbon Fiber trunk spoiler (that I have), the issue is the IS-F spoiler is secured with 9 screws (yes 9), replacing the IS-F spoiler with the CF one leave some of the holes visible, filling up the holes and re painting, is prohibitively expensive.

I'd like to trade your Matador Red trunk lid with mine (with IS-F spoiler).

The swap will take place at Auto Fashion in San Diego, we split the cost of the swap.

The color is the same, it is all factory. Matador Red is notoriously hard to photograph

You have to have navi for the back up camera... it's above the license plate.


To OP:

Man, if you were in TX I would do this right now. Any way I can ship you mine... I'd ship you mine and when you get it and install it you can ship me yours. My trunk lid has been kept in good condition with constantly a proper wax job on it, no spoiler and I have navigation.

Question though, will your emblems fill the holes in our trunks emblems?

what are u doing about the is-f emblems? swapping them too?

My understanding is that they are attached to a separate sub assembly (called the luggage compartment outside door garnish sub assembly) it is secured with 3 bolts and 5 clips, so we should be able to keep each own emblems, I'm only looking for the boot lid.

Why dont you just swap the upper portion of the trunk? This way, you can keep the bottom that houses the camera and emblems. Then it wouldnt matter if the trader had navi or not :-)
