It's the DEEPEST sounding exhaust for our cars. I've had them all. I know that deep can be subjective, so I would say it's on the opposite side of the spectrum when it comes to rasp, which was most important to me. The Tanabe is the raspiest when combined with any other exhaust mod(resonator delete, midpipe, headers etc.) besides the axel back itself.
IMO, any worried about drone, or sound inside the cabin shouldn't be considering any exhaust mods for their car. Performance gains are minimal, therefor only real difference is sound. So yes, you can hear it inside the car.
Axel-back alone= Less decibel then F-Sport, but deeper. More bass.
Axel-back with invidia= AMAZING. No where near pathetic loud as the F-Sport+Invidia setup, but it is loud.
If you are worried about drone, but you need an exhaust, your only choice is the discontinued Lexus HKS exhaust. It was my first exhaust, and IMO pointless. A stock G35 or Z is louder.
Here's how it will look! My tips stuck out to far, and it didn't look good. So make sure they tuck them in a little.

well my friend just got a greddy exhaust on his TL and the sound is so loud that it gets nauseating u can't hear anything inside just a constant hum. I don't mind the hum past 3 k rpm. I'm considering the exhaust though.
