FS: StopTech BBK - Slotted 6/4 Setup
SOLD!
For sale is my StopTech BBK. They are currently installed on my car with 0 miles. They are on my car primarily for SEMA, and will come off the car around the first week of November.
[edit] They now have about 30~ miles or so. Car was driven from Lexus Headquarters in Torrance to a body shop in Panorama City. [/edit]
FOUR WHEEL KIT
FRONT: 355 x 32 mm Rotor/ 6 Piston Caliper
REAR: 345 x 28 mm Rotor/ 4 Piston Caliper
Slotted Rotors
"Which is better, slotted or drilled rotors?
StopTech provides rotors slotted, drilled or plain. For most performance applications slotted is the preferred choice. Slotting helps wipe away debris from between the pad and rotor as well as increasing the "bite" characteristics of the pad. A drilled rotor provides the same type of benefit, but is more susceptible to cracking under severe usage. Many customers prefer the look of a drilled rotor and for street and occasional light duty track use they will work fine. For more severe applications, we recommend slotted rotors." - StopTech FAQ
$4000 picked up or $4000 + shipping
$4200 professional installation if you're in Los Angeles
This is a good deal as these brakes retail for over $5000!
