The milage on the motor is 45,000 miles. The actual motor came off a gs430 that got rear ended. no damage to the front end whats so ever. the motor ran good as it should on a well maintained gs430 the same goes for the tranny. hope that helps. pictures will be on its way in about a week.

Is the motor a direct plug-in for a GS 300 or is there a lot of work needed to get it in there?

I am not 100% sure that it is a direct plug and play. I am pretty sure you probably need 3UZFE mounts and everything else that your GS3 does not have. Motor should fit with the right mounts and accessories. But
PLEASE check with a Professional Lexus Mechanic before hand.
