Talking L-Tuned exhaust for sale...nearly new

Bought from Steve Ganz, invoice date 9/18/03. Installed 10/1/03 and wifey says "too loud"............only way to restore peace and quiet (however temporary) was to put original exhaust back on. Three Star Muffler did so this past Saturday (10/11) and they're ready to ship.

So, 10 days on the car, $500 and they are yours!

That's why you tell the wifey that she's "too loud" and you sell her j/k

Good luck with the sale. This is an awesome price since it's still pretty much BRAND NEW!

Thanks, Brendan! I was tempted.................................but then I thought: Who's gonna mix my martini??

Oh, well............................guess that's another reason men need women (aside from the fact that sheep can't cook)!

L-Tuned is a relatively quiet exhaust comapred to the others. I think the only one quieter is Borla I believe? For a video (with sound) of l-tuned on my gs300 go here ...

Mine is close to how it'd sound on a GS4. The GS4 would be a tad bit quieter but about the same tone but a little deeper. I think it's perfect.

I am assuming this is a catback system right? Is there just a system with the rear cans only?

No, this is mufflers and tips only. For a pic of the system, you can go to L-Tunedparts.com (Carson Toyota/Steve Ganz) or L-Tuned.com (the "official" L-Tuned website).

Relative to the size and weight of the stock mufflers, the L-Tuned are about 1/3 the size and weight. Quality of construction is great, which is to be expected since L-Tuned is/was a subsidiary of TRD.

Default installation prices

How much should one expect to pay for installation of the L-Tuned exhaust system?

Thanks

If your bolts arent corroded then it can take 30 minutes to an hour. It's bolt on -- easy as heck. I'm only 19 and I could have done it easily. I'm the 1 out of 100 that end up having a bolt that won't unscrew ... did it myself but hacking off that bolt took forever.

Dont pay for installation. You'll be kicking yourself in the butt when you realize how easy it is.

$619 from Steve Ganz, shipped; $676 was the retail price from L-Tuned price list.

Installation is quite easy. The most difficult part is actually getting the rubber doughnut hangers back over the hanger on the muffler. $25 at local muffler shop when I was taking the L-Tuned off and putting stock back on.

As Brendan said, only difficulty is if original nut and bolt have locked up with corrosion.
