I have a spoiler on my GS, which I'm willing to give out for FREE of charge and you won't even need to pay any installation fees!...

now here is the catch, and now you saying "oh! there is a catch!", well ofcourse there is a catch !

anyway.. pick one

a) I will need to exchange my trunk w/ other party, my trunk have never been repainted or damaged or anything like that, so i expect the same from the other party. it MUST be black, so i'd match color of my car.

b) or someone has to pay for my paint job when i take that spoiler off my trunk

What about the VIN number on the trunk lid? With a different VIN on the trunk, the car will be looked at as a suspect and therefore may lower its resale, right?

I'm not sure it's a crime but the stickers are such that when there is an attempt to pull it out, it will break into pieces.

I think its only a crime if you try to sell a car with a diff VIN that you placed on it... I am not 100% sure...

I thought it was ok to have different parts with different vins if you have documentation of it. Because i know when i messed up a front fender once, i got one from a junk yard and it had a different vin on it. I dunno it just seemed like it would be ok in that sense. Because what if alexus went to a salvage yard and bought a black trunk without a spoiler and put it on its car?

You can have a different vin, but you cannot take the sticker off and put it on another car. Trust me in NY, your car or parts will get confiscated.
