What do you mean by aligned ? Do you mean it needs to be rebuilt ?

since your not far from me nor are they how much if i come pick it up? i need to go by and see them and see how much this would cost to "adjust" i mean if they tell me $200 or something it may just be worth me buying a new one you know?

Precision Industries promises one free stall change with any purchase of one of their torque converters. sakataj, if you buy it, and the original owner provides you with proof of purchase than they should oblige and change the stall or repair it for free. isn't PI in Tennessee? Why doesn't the original poster take it there to get fixed before selling? And from personal experience since I have one of these, perhaps it'd be better off with a 2600 stall. im running 2800 and sometimes it seems a little much. but im also running the supra tt rear diff with 3:73 gears.

I am not the original owner and actually bought it from a member from clublexus many many years ago. probably around 2008-09.

yes they are in TN about 1.5 hours from me and 10 mins down the road from my girlfriend . much further for OP and then he has to put $ into it. yes they do promise a free one but as OP says he isnt the original owner so it would cost me to rebuild
