Default Free transmission from my GS400

I have a tranny from my 98GS400 that I got rid of ten years ago, I have been dragging this transmission back and forth across the country and I am not doing it anymore.

I am moving again and so it needs to go. I am in Memphis TN all I ask is that you come and get it or setup shipping so all I have to do is open the garage for whoever is coming for it.

Perfect timing on my tranny going out! I have a 98 gs400. How many miles are on your tranny? I'm in Baton Rouge. You are about a 5.5 hour drive away from me. I got a quote of about $750 to install it. Does that seem high? I'm very interested, thanks!

If I remember about 70,000 but I really don't recall the specific number its been awhile. As for the install I have no idea sorry I can't help with that

Is there anything wrong with the tranny? If you don't mind me asking, why did you take it out? I could really use one, but I want to make sure I don't spend a lot of money installing something that needs work. I know you can't give any guarantees, but would you say it was in perfect working condition before it was removed? I can drive up this weekend and come get it - and free is too good of a price - I'll have to give you something for it - beer comes to mind if nothing else

It worked fine when I took it out of the car. I took it out because I parted out and scrapped the car (blown engine), I took the tranny wheels, turbo kit, seat, headlights etc. I managed to sell a lot of it but have somethings left that I am just ready to get rid of.
