Were you able to recall where you picked this up?

I was thinking of starting a thread asking people's experience/opinion of who/where to purchase one

Hate to clutter up things with more different threads on the same thing....but was not finding anything recent on the topic, in my search.

I have a 2nd gen GS (2001 GS430).

Sounds like people manage ok with the inexpensive replicas, if can get mounted sufficiently. Ok by me for something that will likely get scratched/cracked sooner or later...and I will end up replacing the whole bumper cover eventually anyway.

Currently there are sources on Amazon and Ebay that seem to be unique versions to each. With just one Amazon review, that complained how they were warped and cracked during install - was a waste. Of course Ebay doesn't have reviews, but they "look" closer to what is described here...which may be a more desirable version??.

While on the topic...in case... any good experiences in recent years with the Duraflex pieces? They look to be very disappointing on here, in the past...but they're still making/selling - wondering if they improved on anything since back then?

Nah I wasn't able to find it. I have purchased the tte rep lips on ebay in the past. They need to be modded a bit but they work fine. They shouldn't crack because the replica tte lips are polyurethane so that doesn't really make much sense to me how that happened.
