Aristo hid headlights with factory ballasts. I have not tested if the ballasts work. Has a couple of surface scratches, I have not tried refinishing them. $300 shipped obo. PM if interested.

You do know that if someone were to use them as they sit they would not see good light output and would blind oncoming traffice? they are made for right hand drive vehicles.

I don't get it. These look the same as the ones on my gs. Why would an output be different on a rhd

...because RHD vehicles usually drive on the left side of the road, so the beam is lower towards the middle of the road as not to blind oncoming traffic.

Soo ummm...quick question: if someone were to have non-hid Aristo headlights with aftermarket hid's retrofitted mounted on a USDM GS, would they really be blinding the hell out of oncoming traffic?

Yes a stock RHD car beam pattern is pointed up on the left side, to illuminate road signs, and it lowers out on the right side, to not blind oncoming drivers. So basically it's useless on north american roads. if you never left the city i don't think it would be really bad but it could be unsafe if you do a lot of rural driving.

And if you ghetto rig HIDs in to a halogen RHD housing you would definitely get flashed by oncoming traffic all day long

^ that. Unless you're talking about retrofitting projectors. Then it wouldn't matter. Since you'll be putting the correct projector on the correct side. Therefore no weird cut off and no blinding other people
