Question

Yo bro. You mean the Side veiw mirrors(Turn signals) ?
E-class or CLK typr MB turn signals? right?
BDragon & Kendu & another member has got it custom modded.
I am gonna do it as soon as Kendu give me the info. His GS had the E-class molded it his GS signals looked great. The E-class are alot longer so bondo & custom molding is required. I'm not sure where your gonna get em cus. the dealer would be expensive. I would try Junk Yards for totalled E-class or CLK's.

Hi Paul,

Yes I meant the turn the turn signals on MB side mirrors. I am not too excited about this custom job of modifying an MB part to fit my car (or vice versa as the case may be). I was under the impression that some Japanese company was offering such mirrors. Maybe not. Anyway, it was worth asking.

Thanks!

Cool!!!

Do you know any website or dealer I can contact to buy this? Do you know if it is a good quality part?

I found this
Performance parts for Lexus GS300/400 - by doing a search on google, but this part is not on there. I cannot find a website for Toms parts exclusively.

Does anyone know if Steve Ganz carries this stuff? I will PM him to find out.

Wink Hey Hameed

Hey Hameed. Whas up bro. Steve has posted before that the Tom's side veiw mirrors are not a perfect fit. Left side fit OK & the right really doesn't fit well. Now another member got em & he says that they fit well. I beleive in what Steve Ganz says cus. I've bought many things from him & he knows his stuff. The Tom's Light section does not extend all the way out. The MB is SSOOO much better. I have also considered the Toms but the MB is the way to go dude. The mod of MB lights conversion can be done in New York ,Fort Lee I think? The light bulbs can be changed to hyper whites (Looks great). The hard part of the mod. is not the conversion but actually the MB Lights themselves. cus. they might run ya some $$$. Let us know how the Tom's light work out for ya. I will post after I get my KIT & lights put on.

Hey Paul, what you getting for yours? MB mirrors or doing the Tom's thing?

I can actually get the mirrors at a good price as my brother-in-law can buy MB parts at a lower price as he has his own repair shop that specializes in fixing MB's (as you can imagine he is extremely busy ).

If that is the better route to go, I will go that route instead.

And one last question - which mirrors exactly go on our GS? Is it the 2002 E-Class or 2003 E-class mirrors?

Thanks for all the info. I would love to see yours when yours are done. When will you be doing yours?

I've been looking at this for a while to do...I know that Bdragon is the only one that I've seen to get this done in perfect condition and he used the E-Class mirrors..they're the only ones that fit right. I thik that 2000-2002 models are the ones he used. I 'm hoping that I can ge this done sooner than later.

I've been told that TOM"S are only direct fit for ARISTO version in Japan...you can try but will prob have to modify.

Anyone got the hookup??

I have the Tom's mirrors and both sides fit fine. I did not have any fitment issues when they were test fitted. They are not completely on the car just yet only because I will go ahead and finish them when the body kit is done.

Steve is very trustworthy for I have bought products from him b4, but the Tom's mirrors I have do not have a fitment issue at all...

Default Seen in HK

In HK I have seen some Toyota's and Lexi with Modellista mirror covers.
They are not cheap, like HKD3000 (USD380) including installation per set and in my opinion, they are not my first or second choice in my mod list.

However, I just wanted to share this with you.
