Default FS: 98 GS430 USED OEM headlights

Hi all,

Have a set of used headlight from a 98 GS430. Slightly discolored but can be easily polished out. New set of OEM headlights is about $500, so let's list it for $250OBO.. Located by/around LAX airport area in So Cal. will ship also if buyer pays shipping+pp fees, or if anyone from the bay wants them, I can bring them back this weekend 4/12/13, but I usually come back about once a month.

Includes I believe it's the ballast(attached on the back of the housing) and low beam bulbs. No broken tabs.

PM me if you have any questions.

Paypal only to protect both buyer and seller.

Thank you.

thats not possible man, they didnt make the GS430 till 2001, they appear to be green tinted so they indeed do look like 2001+ headlights but they DEF not from a 1998 GS430.

factory ballast is mounted underneath the headlights not on the back so you sure its a ballast and not the OEM Leveling system.....? y dont you post a pic of the back/bottom to show no broken tabs and so we can tell you what the part is

Thanks for the heads up and good looking out, I actually just found these in the warehouse, but for sure they are from a GS430, just not quite sure what year it was. I was a gen 3 owner so I know nothing about gen 2

Also, I will take a picture of the backside and the tabs as soon as I get a chance to upload them.

Do $250 shipped? Should run about 25 to ship via USPS.

Here's some picture of the bottom and back side of the headlights.. all looks to be in tact with no visible damage.

i think you should have said this in your first post, it would have sounded more honest instead of someone having to pull it from you. Though your pictures show the actual item and condition, id still be hesitant to buy since you really don't know if they work or not, nor know what car they came from, correct?

First of all, thank you for your opinion
Second of all, if you're Not interested in purchasing them, there shouldnt be a reason why for this comment because no one had to pull it out of me, It's an honest mistake not knowing what year the car is
Thirdly, they do work and did come out of A GS430, yes the year is unknown because I Don't ask everyone specific details about their cars. Isn't the headlights universal for all second Gen Gs?
please Don't take this personal but i would appreciate you Not bashing my Rep because you Don't know me nor interested in purchasing these. thank you

You can say that the headlights are from a 01+ GS430's green tinted, H.I.D. self leveling. Those who do not have HID will need to purchase additional equipment however not by you.

01+ 430's all had HID, self leveling, green tinted headlights. It was an option on the 01+ 300's. 98-00 300/400's didn't have this as a standard feature.

you are WRONG they will universally work for ALL second gen GS's. the only differences is they will have the green tint which the 1998-2000 didn't have and they will have the auto leveling which wont work unless your 1998-2000 model had OEM HIDS. other than that the housing is the same, the mounting locations are the same. a lot of 199-2000 members upgrade to these as they think the green tint looks nicer (although i have factory green tint inside mine i agree they look nicer IMHO)

those who DIDN'T have HID's will just need some bulbs since he is including the ballasts the big black boxes mounted below the headlights (the passenger side is missing the auto leveling computer but if your installing in a 1998-2000 that didnt come with HIDS you don't care anyways) so YES any model 2nd gen can use these lights

everyone lets calm down a little....

OP if you find anymore GS parts to sell and need some help, PM me. i troll the classified's more than anyone and i know my 2nd Gen Gs from top to bottom as i do 90% of my work. im not saying im the most knowledgeable but i do know this car very, very, very well
