of course after i buy my taba grill this thing pops up.... did it get black chromed or painted black on the slats or is this just how the picture is?

Sorry to hear about your car!
The grill was powdercoated gloss black and the slats were polished at the edge. I love this grill it makes me wish I didn't part out my car.
Tony made the transaction very smooth I can definitely vouch for him if needed.
