FL Wtb: diff(pumpkin) bushings....

I am having the SAME issue....Also, when going downhill (especially) and the car upshifts- I can feel a 'clunk'...pretty sure it's the differential. There are a FEW different bushings that could be responsible for this, though... and I'm trying to find out if these will fix it.
ANYBODY???

Those N1 bushings you mentioned in the thread above- do the Poly bushings ($120 for all four) replace the N1 bushings- or only the rubber ones ?
Ahhh- This "clunking" when the car upshifts- and also with the Cruise Control set on downhills (although- I don't even USE the cruise anymore, b/c it's so bad) the car is making a really noticeable "THUMP" in the back end. The STEALERship thinks it's the tranny... but with only 135k miles along with the fact that the transmissions are pretty AWESOME in our cars, and brand new cherry red fluid makes me think they're just trying to get me to pay them more money, to install a new or rebuilt tranny (which I'd NEVER do!)
I guess it "COULD" be internal, in the transmission- I just honestly FEELS like that rear diff and the thump def seems to be coming from the BACK of the car. This is killing me.
I'm ordering those poly bushings ASAP though... but before I tear it all apart to install them, I just want to make sure I don't need to buy new "N1" bushings, as well.
What do you think guys???
Aren't MORE people having this problem with their older/high mileage 2GS's !?
(And thanks again, Brian)
