They look exactly the same except the 01 has 1 less tube going into the vapor pressure sensor. When my mechanic told me it wouldnt work, I called Carson Toyota & we saw that the 99 & 01 canisters are two different part numbers. There is a 99 canister on eBay for $128 shipped. It listed the day after I paid FULL price for mine. Talk about bad luck.

oh wow.... so how much is.it new? what is the item number on tbe on in ebay, if its not too much to ask? i need to replace mine before i can smog so.i can renew my registration. can you pm me tbe item # please. i am hoping it will work good and have some life left.
