Default VVTI 2JZ GTE Engine, Harness, ECU, MAF package

This is the engine out of my GS I swapped back in 2006, have driven the car about 500 miles in the last 2 years. Compression when I tested it before putting it away was roughly 150's in 4 cylinders, 14x in one cylinder and 13x in one cylinder. After removing the exhaust manifold it looks as though cylinder 5 is burning oil, the rest of the exhaust ports are in good shape.

Included with this sale is:

Complete long block (a/c compressor, alternator and power steering pump not included, you can use the ones from your GS)
2JZGTE VVTI Ecu
Wiring Harness pre-wired for swap into 98 GS
VVTI GTE MAF
USDM 550CC injectors
Custom resistor pack for injectors
Trans (4 speed TT trans) with correct mount and shift linkage can be had for an extra $200
Trans will come with TT torque convertor

Engine made 467hp at the wheels through the auto trans with unlocked convertor and 20" wheels.

$1500 (I'll split paypal fees with buyer if that's the chosen method of payment)

Not parting out at this time, if I chose to do so I will edit/make a new post.

Shipping is on buyer along with shipping arrangements. I can drop it off but I don't have the time or means to crate/pallet the engine etc...

A good way to go, which I may entertain an offer on, would be to take the head, ecu, harness, and Maf (basically everything but the block) and just stick it on a GE block with a TT headgasket. You would be able to swing 350-400hp at the wheels pretty easily just with that. Would be a bolt on affair outside of tapping the pan for an oil return line. You could do it in a weekend pretty easily, been thinking about just doing that myself and leaving everything else stock for a DD instead of my truck.

What's nice is that since you are really only retaining the block and I have a true Aristo ECU (not a Supra) you can also install the 4 speed trans and it will drive like normal so you don't have to worry about the weak spot of the GS, the 5 speed auto.

Haven't really thought of any new projects yet, probably going to take a break for awhile and work on "big picture" stuff. I'm working pretty long hours these days so it doesn't leave much time for working on cars etc... I'm sure something will come up eventually but for right now I'm just hitting cruise.

I guess if you haven't done it before it can sound a bit daunting but that's why I priced it accordingly. Plus side is you would have had basically a brand new motor for $2k which you can't beat for a GTE. Either way, it's gone and finding a home in a 240.

I'm in North Seattle, been in Western Washington for about 2 years now. Pretty much quit driving the car about the time I moved here. A guy from CL is actually who bought it, guess it's going in a dedicated drift car in place of the RB25 that's in it. I've still got some parts left over if you need them, ecu, MAF, Driveshaft, Trans, resistor pack for USDM injectors etc... If any of that's of interest to you just pm me.
