Hi
My driver window stopped working,it is not the motor as my mechanic put power to the motor and his working fine,so there is a black box in the door panel with a circuit board inside,he says that needs to be replaced,so if anyone knows what that is called or has one i really need one.

before u replace the door ecu....does your dome light,door light come on when you open the door? odd these things just go bad unless your tinkering with them. have you checked the door switch also?

yes the lights work,its the circuit board thats in the door panel that is not working correctly.I am not sure of the name.
my car is a 01 gs430.

All my other windows work from the driver control,just the driver window does not.
