Is this a re-furbished/upgraded/fixed part? Or is it the original model that was faulty in the '01 430 amp randomly blasts the sound at maximum volume by itself and just about blows out all the speakers.

I have no way of knowing if this is refurbished/upgarded/fixed part. It was the stock amplifier from a friends (sold) lexus gs430 he removed it a few years ago when he re-did his entire system. I tested it on my lexus gs430 2001 and it works perfectly fine. Sound comes out of every speaker and the subwoofer too. It makes no random noises or blew out my speakers. I prefer local pickup so buyers can try it for themself in their car, or I will hook it up to my car to show.

Ok thanks, no worries. I'm looking for a new amp cuz mine is the faulty kind but I have to make sure I get the refurbished/fixed part so I just don't end up swapping the same amp. lol Good price but I can't take a chance on it if unsure. Good luck with the sale!
