No, you need to look for a compressor for a 98-00 gs400, 01-05 gs430 and 02-09 sc430. The 1gen 1uz-fe motor a/c compressor wont fit on our 2gen 1uz. You might be able to get away with a ls400 (98-00) compressor.
Also, you need to make sure the pulley on the compressor has as many grooves as your belt, because I believe that the pulleys across the models I listed, some may have 6 groove and others 4 groove.

Get on ebay, there's a company that only sells a/c compressors. The guy that sells them is A+ -- I got a compressor that had a messed up seal and he shipped a 2nd one out without any hassle.

I ordered one from one of our vendors in NYC for salvaged cars, he told me it was for the 98 GS400, but when I got the fedex shipping info it said 98 SC400. I have to wait now until it comes to see if it was a typo or if they sent the wrong thing
