Oh, whoops forgot about that. They're both GE blocks. When you run forged pistons, the aftermarket pistons don't have accommodations for the oil squirters. Even if it was a GTE block, I would plug up the oil squirters. I prefer to keep oil pressure in my engine bearings rather than let it go to waste spraying the bottom of the aftermarket forged pistons that no longer have a cooling passage for the oil.
The GE and GTE blocks and crankshaft are identical, the only difference is that the GE has the oil squirters plugged up.
The $2200 block would be a good option for someone wanting to make their NA-T setup bulletproof. Basically what I was intending to use it for, but going to put that on hold for a bit. Instead of buying an OEM Toyota GTE shortblock for $2400 that has factory cast pistons, you can have a fully built block with forged pistons and rods for less than the cost of a OEM shortblock.

It will work for the SC300. Since this was originally a VVTi engine, there's a hole for the VVTi feed that needs to be plugged up if you're going to be using it for your car. If you look at the picture, there's already a plug in that hole.
As for the turbo kit, still doing reliability testing. When it's out I will become a vendor here, and I guarantee everyone here will know about the turbo kit. Right now, it's just still in testing.
